25th Edition of Nagaland Hornbill Festival – 2024

Nagaland Hornbill Festival, the 25th edition, is organized by the Department of Tourism of Nagaland. This year, the Nagaland Hornbill Festival 2024 is set to begin on December 01, 2024, marking its silver jubilee. This 10-day annual tourism promotion festival showcases Nagaland’s rich and traditional cultural heritage in all its ethnicities, diversity, and grandeur.

25th Edition of Nagaland Hornbill Festival 2024 launches on December 01

Nagaland Tourism recently confirmed that the Hornbill Festival, a 10-day event, will run from 01 to 10 December 2024. The annual tourism promotion event was conceptualized in 2000 to celebrate the tribal life, food, traditional games, music, and dance of the state’s indigenous peoples.

Called the “Festival of Festivals”, the Nagaland Hornbill Festival offers visitors a unique platform to witness the Naga culture diversity in one place. In addition to this, the event also states North East India as a means of cultural exchange, while adventure, sports, art handicrafts, fashion, music, literature, etc. are also included as per tif the special annual festival.

Tourism Commissioner and Secretary Dr. G. Hukugha Sema expressed enthusiasm and said that this would be a remarkable festival.
