Krishna Janmashtami: Steps to perform puja

1. Take a holy bath before starting the puja.

2. Wash the house and all the god’s pictures and idols.

3. Give a bath to Laddu Gopal Ji and Lord Krishna.

4. Decorate the swing with a well-padded sheet, then make Laddu Gopal Ji sit on it.

5. Dress Laddu Gopal Ji with beautiful clothes, flowers, bangles, crown, peacock feathers, and Tulsi garland and apply Chanda Tilak on his forehead, then make him sit there.

6. Also, give him some food, water, and Tulsi leaves.

7. Ready different types of Bhog Prasad.

8. When you have prepared all the Prasad, feed it to the Lord and keep chanting his name and mantra throughout the day.

9. Offer bhog prasad and perform aarti.

10. Visit the temple and take Prasad from there to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna.
