Ladakh Festival 2024: The Ladakh Festival is a cultural extravaganza showing Ladakhi culture and heritage. The Ladakh Festival 2024 began on September 21 in Leh at the Polo Ground alongside Mall Road and the main Leh market which are the most popular sport among tourists.

The 2024 Ladakh Festival started on September 21 and runs on September 24, inviting locals and tourists alike to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Ladakh. You can enjoy the four-day Ladakh Festival with a rich tradition, vibrant colors, and unforgettable experiences.

In this event, around 1000 artists representing different villages of Ladakh participated in the event. The festival focuses on celebrating the Ladakhi culture such as folk, dance, polo matches, mask dances, traditional food, music, handicrafts, and archery competitions.

On the first day of the Ladakh Festival, the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Brigadier BD Mishra (Retd) attended the event. He shares happiness and explains the importance of the leaving lasting good memories for tourists and the need for people engaged in the tourism industry.

He further states that we need to improve homestay, trekking routes, adventure sports, and other tourist activities to ensure a better experience for both domestic and foreign tourists.

Moreover, a lineup of events including art exhibitions, handicrafts, traditional music, and culinary was showcased, throughout the festival.
