Navratri

Shardiya Navratri is known as Maha Navratri. Devotees all over the world celebrate the nine-night and ten-day festival with great enthusiasm. In 2024, Shardiya Navratri will start on October 03 and end on October 12, and it culminates on the 10th day with Dussehra.

During the Navratri, Devotees worship nine forms of Goddess Durga, including Maa Shailputri, Maa Brahmacharini, Maa Chandraghanta, Maa Kushmanda, Maa Skandamata, Maa Katyayani, Maa Kalaratri, Maa Mahagauri, and Maa Siddhidatri.

Dussehra

Dussehra also known as Vijayadashmi is a famous festival. After the conclusion of the nine-day-long festival of Navratri, it is celebrated. In 2024, the festival will fall on October 12. The festival is a prominent festival celebration of Lord Ram’s victory over King Ravana.

Sharad Purnima

Sharad Purnima: is the Hindu festival celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashvin, marking the end of the monsoon season. This year, Sharad Purnima is on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. On this festival, devices worship and offer flowers and Kheer many Hindu divine couples like Radha Krishna, Shiva Parvati, and Lakshmi Narayana alongside the Moon.

Karwa Chauth

Karwa Chauth: Women celebrate the Hindu festival in October or November in the Hindu lunar month of Kartika. This festival falls on the 4th day after the full moon day, Sharad Purnima. On this day, women keep a fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands or future partners. In 2024, Karwa Chauth will start on Sunday, October 20 at 6:46 am and end on Monday, October 21 at 4:16 AM.

Dhanteras

Dhanteras is the first day to mark the festival of Diwali across the country. This year, the Dhanteras observed on October 29, holds immense cultural and religious improvements in Hinduism.
