PVR announced Kareena Kapoor Khan Film festival from Sept 20 to 27
Kareena Kapoor Khan completed her career of 25 years in the film industry with significant milestones. To celebrate, Multiples chain PVR (PVRINOX) Picture has announced a Film festival to honor the 25 years of Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor in cinema. In addition, PVRINOX is organizing a special week-long film festival titled “PVRINOX Celevtate 25 Years of Kareena Kapoor Khan Festival,”

According to the information, the Kareena KK Film Festival will run over 30 cinema halls in 15 cities from September 20 to September 27. Yesterday night, Kareena shared the announcement on her official Instagram page, The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… my job I love… the fire within… here’s to the next 25. Thanks to @pvrcinemas_official & @inoxmovies for curating this beautiful festival… so humbled.”
Moreover, on Twitter/X also shared this announcement and wrote “Here’s to 25 more years and Announcing the Kareena Kapoor Khan film festival” Plus, she also asked fans, which films would love to see re-released in theatres.
For your information, Kareena Kapoor Khan debuted in 2000 with JP Dutta’s cross-border love story: “Refugee.” Moreover, the film festival will warm up with his latest flip “The Buckingham Murders”, directed by Hansal Mehta, and will showcase a selection of other iconic movies over the years. The series of films includes:
- Asoka (2001)
- Chameli (2003)
- Jab We Met (2007)
- Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001)
- Omkara (2006).
Furthermore, the film festival will be the first time for a female actor in India, with Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachan being the only two Indian actors to have a film festival dedicated to them.
Since 2000, Kareena has over 50 movies to her credit, having starred in films. These including Chameli, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Omkara, Jab We Met, Heroine, 3 Idiots, Kurbaan, We Are Family, Udta Punjab, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Laal Singh Chadha.
